Ruben Hein – Live
Hij heeft weliswaar pas één studioalbum uitgebracht, maar Ruben Hein mag zich desondanks nu al tot de top van het Nederlandse jazzcircuit rekenen. Zijn tweede langspeler is een livealbum, samen met Het Metropole Orkest.
Miles Davis heeft een roerig leven gehad. Hij is geboren in Illinois en verhuisde op 19-jarige leeftijd naar New York om daar te gaan studeren aan de Juilliard School of Music. Zijn studie verwaarloosde hij echter en ging op pad met zijn muzikale helden om op te treden in jazzclubs.
AMSTERDAM – Het leven van jazzlegende Miles Davis wordt verfilmd. Regisseur George Tillman jr., die eerder de film Notorious over rapper Biggie Smalls maakte, heeft voor het project getekend.
